Rapper Jay Z, who attended last weekend’s star-studded “Justice For Trayvon” rally in New York City, is among those dissatisfied with the outcome of the George Zimmerman trial:

What is unfurling in our American society right now could well set us off in a new direction. The culture is changing. The collective temperament is changing evolving. The cross-section of the populace that disagrees with the George Zimmerman verdict reminds one of a lynch mob, like the ones that ran rampant through the south some 150 years ago. The hoods are slightly different in design.

“But the more they are different, the more they are exactly the same!”
